PA Business Week 2019

The Junior Class at CSHS participated in PA Business Week this year from February 25-March  1.

What is Pennsylvania Business Week?

Pennsylvania Business Week was developed in 1997 by the Manufacturer and Business Association in conjunction with Ft. LeBoeuf High School. In 1999, the MBA turned the program over to ACES.

Business Week is designed to allow teams of high school students to manage companies through a business simulation for an entire week. Students are taught how to manage finances, execute effective advertising campaigns, and work together as a team to achieve success.

The program culminates in 5 competitions at the end of the week: Advertising, Stockholders, Trade Show, Return on Net Assets and Top Company.

Say Something is a youth violence prevention program from Sandy Hook Promise – a national violence prevention organization. Say Something Anonymous Reporting System allows youth and adults to submit secure & anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. The system enables school administrators and law enforcement to create effective interventions and to help prevent violence, suicide, bullying, self-harm and other forms of threatening behavior.

With our Anonymous Reporting System, it’s easy and completely confidential to report safety concerns to help prevent violence and tragedies.
